About Bougainvilleae Eastate

The Bougainvillea Estate is an unforgettable experience! Established in 1907, the Historical Bougainvillea Estate offers an authentic family-oriented getaway right on Delancy Street, near the hub of Nassau on The Bahamas. Filled with Bahamian Heritage, Culture & History, a few of the buildings on the property were officially recognized as Historical Landmarks by the Government of The Bahamas.

Restored in 2013, Tasty Teas Bahamas began the development of the Bougainvillea Estate. The mission was to produce the best and highest quality bust teas that The Bahamas has to offer. Upon arrival, guests receive an informative presentation about the bush teas and have an opportunity to experience a taste of the island. Tasty Teas has also been awarded on both a local and international scale over the years, with the most recent recognition being the Travelers’ Choice Award 2024 from TripAdvisor.

In addition to our beverages, we also offer authentic Bahamian cuisine such as delicious Conch Fritters and Daiquiris made with native fruits like soursop and guava. And, our down-home backyard setup-complete with shaded tables and hammocks, is the perfect setting to sip and soak up the vibes. Speaking of Beauty, Sun Blossom, which has “Bahamian Tings” offers a variety of handcrafted products.
